Ocean Blue JC Travel Sdn Bhd is honored to receive the Social Responsibility Award at the 12th International Teochew Youth Convention, held on 8th July 2025 at the One Utama Convention Centre.
This award reflects our commitment to promoting responsible and community-centered tourism in Sekinchan and the surrounding regions. Our approach goes beyond travel services — we aim to ensure that tourism creates meaningful and lasting positive impact for the local community.
Our efforts include:
- Empowering Local Communities: We collaborate directly with local fishermen, paddy farmers, homestay hosts, and family-run eateries, helping to create sustainable income opportunities and preserve village livelihoods.
- Cultural Heritage Preservation: Through our curated experiences and storytelling tours, we help visitors appreciate and understand the unique Teochew culture, coastal traditions, and agricultural heritage of Sekinchan.
- Environmental Responsibility: We promote “travel with care” practices, support coastal and village clean-up programs, and encourage visitors to respect nature and local environments.
- Youth Development & Employment: We provide work and training opportunities for local youths, drivers, and guides, helping build future skills and careers in the tourism industry.
